Hi, I’m Fiona! Like many therapists, I came to this work through my own winding path – navigating big life transitions, getting to know anxiety so well we’re basically roommates, and carrying the weight of trying to hold it all together.
Now, I’m the kind of therapist who walks with you through whatever feels complicated or uncertain, who gently asks the tough questions, and who helps you make sense of the parts of yourself that feel tangled, tired, or lost. This space is for you if you’ve been keeping it together on the outside but feeling overwhelmed on the inside – the overthinkers, people-pleasers, caregivers, and quiet achievers, who are craving space to just be human.
My approach to therapy is collaborative and down-to-earth. I work with individuals feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or burnt out – often navigating anxiety, life transitions, identity questions, people-pleasing tendencies or relational patterns that no longer serve them. Often, they’re in that uncomfortable in-between space, where the old ways aren’t working, but the next step isn’t totally clear either.
I integrate cognitive behavioural therapy, Internal Family Systems, and narrative therapy, blending practical tools with deeper self-exploration – think structured support with emotional depth. I believe therapy should feel like a big, safe exhale: a place where you can be honest, cry, laugh, and just be fully you. I bring curiosity, warmth, and a touch of humour into the room, and I’m not afraid to gently challenge when it helps move things forward. I'm interested in who you are behind the coping strategies, and in helping you reconnect with what matters most to you.
Before becoming a therapist, I spent over a decade supporting senior leaders in the corporate world while raising a family and building a life in a new country. I know the invisible weight of emotional labour, the pressure to perform, and how easily we can lose ourselves in the roles we find ourselves playing.
Outside the therapy room, I’m most at home by the water, coffee in hand, deep in conversation with a good friend or immersed in a true crime podcast. I also love running outside in cold weather and unwinding with hot yoga - my reset button for both body and mind… and a perfect excuse for more coffee
