If you are feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or stuck in patterns that no longer serve you, you do not have to navigate it alone.

Hello! I’m Sarah, thanks so much for stopping by 🙂

Becoming a therapist has been a deeply meaningful journey for me, and I feel incredibly grateful to do this work each day. I’ve always been deeply curious about people, the stories we carry, and how our experiences shape the way we relate to ourselves and others. Like many people, I understand what it feels like to overthink, over analyse, self-criticize, or feel pressure to “have it all together” while trying to keep moving forward and presenting as if nothing is wrong. Over time, I’ve come to believe that healing comes not from becoming a different person, but from learning to understand oneself with greater compassion, curiosity, and honesty.

I believe that meaningful change happens when people feel safe enough to be themselves. Whether you're a teen feeling overwhelmed, an adult feeling disconnected while navigating life’s challenges, or a parent worried about your child, my goal is to create a space where you feel understood, accepted, and supported.

Before becoming a therapist, I spent more than a decade working as an educator and school counsellor in international schools across Southeast Asia and the Middle East. Those experiences taught me the importance of relationships, curiosity, and meeting people where they are. I enjoy working with adolescents, adults, and families from diverse cultural, social, and spiritual backgrounds.

Outside of the therapy room, I make a conscious effort to create a balance between work, play and “me time”. If I’m not working, planning, researching or taking a training course about a new modality I’ve discovered, you will probably find me outside, usually hiking local trails with friends or family, relaxing and reading (a sometimes not work related book) by a body of water, staying active at the gym or exploring new areas in the city. There are many times when you will also find me simply lounging at home, tending to my plants, doing some yoga  or engulfed in a new series while relaxed on the couch. These practices help me stay connected to myself and recharge for the care and support needed to best serve my clients.

Clients often describe me as warm, approachable, and easy to talk to. I aim to balance compassion with practical support, helping clients better understand themselves, navigate difficult emotions, strengthen relationships, and move toward the life they want to live.

My approach is integrative and tailored to each person, drawing from evidence-based therapies including Internal Family Systems (IFS),Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy (EFIT),  Narrative Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, (DBT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), expressive arts, and somatic and nervous-system informed approaches.

To me, therapy is not about “fixing” people, but about helping people better understand themselves, strengthen their relationship with themselves and others, and create space for new ways of coping, connecting, and living. I would be honoured to support you in that process.
